Elizabeth International Holds EYTHO 2024, a Creativity Competition for Students in Indonesia

DENPASAR, Bali (BPN) – The Elizabeth International Hotel and Business School is holding the 2024 Ezzy Youth Tourism & Hospitality Olympics (EYTHO), a competition to improve the creativity of tourism school students in Indonesia.

EYTHO 2024 is held to bring forward the creativity of the younger generation and provides opportunities for high school/vocational school students to develop their full potential, particularly in the tourism and hospitality sectors.

Putu Sri Budani, the Director of Elizabeth International, stated that in addition to skill, creativity is a crucial factor in achieving success along the academic or professional journeys. EYTHO 2024 is founded on this dedication.

“We want to provide a platform for the younger generation, especially vocational/high school students, to develop their creativity. Dare to emerge to a stage, explore their potential to grow into confident and accomplished individuals,” she said at the opening of EYTHO 2024 at the Elizabeth International, Denpasar, on Friday (February 2).

Putu Sri Budani explained that EYTHO 2024 will be a flagship for Elizabeth International which will be held continuously.

“We hope that we can all work together continuously to provide a platform for the younger generation, inspire and help them to realise their creativity in various sectors,” she said.

Meanwhile, Dwi Sugiantari, Chair of the EYTHO 2024 Committee, said that this event is scheduled to take place on 2-17 February 2024, with the closing ceremony on February 21, 2024.

Dwi explained, that there are 13 competitions from 8 departments in the Hotel and Business Vocational field, including the Receptionist Competition, Tour Guiding Competition, Making Bed Competition, Towel Art Battle, Reels Competition, MixoFlair Competition, Creative Table Setup Competition, Dessert Platting Competition, Main Course Competition, WebCraft – Web Design Competition, Speech Competition, Debate Competition, and Business Plan Competition.

“We have recorded 217 participants who have registered and will take part in the 2024 Ezzy Youth Tourism & Hospitality Olympics,” she stated.

Dwi explained this competition is open to all high school and vocational school students throughout Indonesia, with a total prize of IDR 680,250,000, including cash, scholarships, vouchers, trophies, certificates, and Ezzy Gifts.
