KUTA, Bali (BPN) – For the first time ever, Discovery Mall Bali holds the longest and grandest fashion week in Bali entitled “Discovery Fashion Week 2023: Fashion Voyage – Bali’s Biggest Locally Made Resort Fashion Festival”.
Discovery Fashion Week is a series of events in the retail and fashion industry that taking place since June 2023, which started with a model and designer competition called Bali Emerging Designer Competition and Discovery Model Search 2023, followed by the main event of Discovery Fashion Week on July 26-29 2023.
“The theme of Discovery Fashion Week, Fashion Voyage, is inspired by the journeys of fashion industry activists starting from local Balinese brands, Indonesian designers, and also supported by Discovery Mall’s retail brands,” said Kanya Paramitha, Brand Management Discovery Mall Bali, Friday (28/7/2023).
The local brands that participated are Cap Bali, Vedora Shoes, Manikan, Lenny Hartono, Twig Florist, and more.
Then, retail brands that also enliven the fashion runway are collections from the Matahari Dept. Store, SOGO (Pithecantropus, Ethnology, Coast Couture, Juicy Couture), Boardriders, The Body Shop, and Fipper.
In addition, the special event at Discovery Fashion Week 2023 is the first launch of the latest collection from Indonesian well-known designer, Renzi Lazuardi, entitled BLOOM.
The BLOOM collection is specially launched at Discovery Mall Bali because the designer saw a match between the collection’s theme and Discovery Mall Bali as a retail center as well as a tourist destination in Bali, which is synonymous with resort wear, colorful and vibrant fashion.
“Discovery Mall Bali is committed to always presenting interesting activities of sports, art, and fashion for all ages,” she continued.
In the mid-late period of this year, Discovery Mall Bali will pamper its visitors with many activities and experiences provided such as daily live music, various kinds of hobbies and kids’ activities, being the best sunset spot, and more.
