DENPASAR, Bali (BPN) – The latest innovation made by Bank Tabungan Pensiunan Nasional (BTPN) called Jenius, was finally released in Bali as a life finance solution for technology-savvy customers on the island. Jenius, which continues to get a warm welcome in Indonesia, is claimed as a simple, smart and safe life finance solution. Technology-savvy customers in Bali can download this revolutionary application on the App Store or Google Play Store, or visit the Jenius booth on the ground floor of Mall Bali Galeria and Trans Studio Mall Bali.
Independent research conducted by Jenius to the digital-savvy community in Bali revealed that 98 percent of respondents have used digital technology to help with their financial affairs.
Irwan Sutjipto Tisnabudi, BTPN’s Head of Digital Banking explained, the result of this study shows that Indonesian are increasingly integrated with the internet especially via their smartphone.
“This phenomenon also occurs in Bali. This is supported by the rapid development of Bali as one of the favorite destinations for domestic and foreign tourists. Jenius is present in Bali to provide financial services that are simpler, smarter and safer,” he said.
Irwan also explained, Jenius is a revolutionary application equipped with Visa debit card to manage life finance from a smartphone.
“Jenius believes that every decision in life has consequences for the financial aspect. Therefore, the presence of Jenius as a simple, smart and safe life finance solution in Bali and will help the community in making wiser decisions,” Irwan added.
Jenius also introduces foreign currency balance for a transaction using other countries’ currencies in a simple, smart and safe way.
“On May 23, 2019, Jenius introduced a selection of foreign currency balances that increasingly provided convenience in a transaction. Now by using the Kartu Utama (m-Card), customer can activate foreign currency balances including the US Dollar (USD), Singapore Dollar (SGD) and Japanese Yen (JPY). After activating foreign currency balances, Jenius user will be able to exchange currency with Indonesian Rupiah (IDR) through the Jenius App. User can also determine one of the balances that will be linked to the m-Card and use it overseas,” said Irwan.
Besides, other unique features in Jenius include Send It, which can be used to send money and pay bills such as phone, credit card, e-commerce, internet, subscription television, transportation, and top-up credit via smartphones.
