KUTA, Bali (BPN) – One of Bali’s biggest fashion shows, Bali Fashion Parade (BFP), will return this year featuring dozens of professional models, designers, and well-known brands from various cities in Indonesia. The BFP 2023 will take place on July 29, 2023, at the TS Suites Hotel, Kuta.
Organized by YMM Event Organizer and supported by YMM Model Management, BFP 2023 will be themed “Trend Fashion” and will feature a variety of the best and latest designs such as ethnic, resort, summer, cocktail, dress, and others.
Yongki Perdana, Owner of YMM stated that this year is Bali Fashion Parade’s second year following the success of the first event.
“This year, the designer’s enthusiasm is bigger and there are more participants. There are 23 designers from cities in Indonesia who will take part in addition to several well-known brands participating,” said Yongki at a press conference on Friday (6/30/2023).
Yongki explained, of the 23 designers; 10 are Bali-based designers, while others are from various cities in Indonesia such as Jakarta, Surabaya, Malang, and Lampung.
Uluwatu Handmade Balinese Lace, which is one of Bali’s big brands, will also enliven the BFP 2023. Apart from well-known brands, and several well-known designers such as Hengky Kawilarang, Zuebarqa by Benz, Adith, House of Hasto, Hans Virgoro, Lenny Hartono, and many others.
Yongki Perdana hopes that the Bali Fashion Parade will have a positive impact on the economy and become an attraction for tourists in Bali.
“There are many designers in Bali, we provide a place to express their best work. I hope that Bali is not only known for its destinations but also known as a fashion icon that can compete on the international level,” he said.
Meanwhile, Randolp Bubu the Director of the TS Suites Hotel said, fashion is a part of lifestyles and is in line with the theme carried by TS Suites, namely urban lifestyle.
“Hopefully this kind of event can continue and embrace the fashion industry in Bali because Bali has the opportunity to show off, especially in fashion creativity,” he concluded.
