GIANYAR, Bali (BPN) – Bali Doll House officially opened its doors on May 10 in Gianyar, becoming the first and only doll-themed museum in Bali.
The Bali Doll House is designed to be the latest tourist attraction in Bali. This kid-friendly facility includes 1,000 dolls from worldwide spread into 12 individual chambers, each chamber with its own educative story.
Offering unique and creative doll exhibits and sensory lights that make the visitor’s experience more entertaining. Visitors can also view the Augmented Reality (AR) and video story clips for an interactive spin during the exploration.
The highlight of the collection is vintage and rare dolls and figurines from Indonesia and various countries, including famous movies, kid’s favorites, and much-loved superheroes. The gallery of dolls promises to add a level of fun and excitement to the conventional museum experience.
Aside from the doll museum, Bali Doll House features other facilities such as the Brutus, Olive, and Popeye (BOP) food court & drink station features food stalls, an outdoor seating area serving fingers foods, snack, main course, drinks, and children bites, Asian and Western-style dishes.
Another facility is Fantasy Island Stage, an outdoor area ideal for intimate weddings and other small-scale events, consisting of a stage and seating areas with bean bags.
The visitor also can enjoy the ocean view from Be Boop Rooftop. Located on the 2nd floor, this outdoor area displays instagramable selfie spots, pre-wedding photo areas with a miniature chapel and pyramid, Cinderella carriage, seating areas, and private dining area, and a rooftop bar.
For souvenirs, visitors can visit the Clown gift shop where they can find goods related to the exhibitions such as postcards, dolls, snacks, apparel & accessories, toys & plush, and novelty items. Merchandise exclusive to the museum is also for sale.
