DENPASAR, Bali (BPN) – Deputy Chairman of Bali COVID-19 Task Force Dewa Made Indra announced seven additional recoveries as of Sunday, May 17, bringing the total number of patients that have recovered to 250.
“There are seven recoveries today, consist of four Indonesia Migrant Workers (PMI) and three non-PMIs,” Dewa Indra said on his official statement in Denpasar, Sunday.
Besides, Dewa Indra also announced two new confirmed cases, bringing the total number to 348.
“There are two new confirmed cases, one PMI and one local transmitted,” he said.
Dewa Indra explained the number of confirmed cases under treatment amounting to 94. They are being treated at eight hospitals and quarantine sites in Bali.
Meanwhile, the National COVID-19 task force recorded 489 new confirmed cases across the archipelago as of Sunday, bringing the total confirmed cases to 17.514.
“As for recoveries, there are 218 new recoveries today, bringing the total number to 4.129,” the government spokesperson for COVID-19 Achmad Yurianto said in Jakarta, Sunday.
Yuri also announced 59 additional deaths, bringing the total number of the death toll to 1.148.
