DENPASAR, Bali (BPN) – Deputy Chairman of Bali COVID-19 Task Force Dewa Made Indra announced seven new recoveries as of Wednesday, June 3, bringing the total number to 349.

As for new cases, Dewa Indra announced three new confirmed cases from Bangli, Gianyar, and Klungkung Regency.

“There are three new cases as of today. One from returning migrant worker (PMI) and two local transmissions,” he said in Denpasar, Wednesday.

Dewa Indra explained the number of patients under treatment (active cases) amounting to 136.

Most of the cases in Bali are still from imported cases. While local transmissions have reached 219.

Nationally, the Indonesian Government recorded 684 new confirmed cases, bringing the total COVID-19 cases in the archipelago to 28,233.

The government’s spokesperson for COVID-19 Achmad Yurianto also announced 471 new recoveries, bringing the total number to 8,406.

As for fatalities, Yuri announced 35 new deaths, bringing the total number of death tolls from COVID-19 to 1,698.
