DENPASAR, Bali (BPN) – Deputy Chairman of Bali COVID-19 Task Force Dewa Made Indra announced six patients have recovered as of Wednesday, May 6, bringing the total number to 166.
“There are six patients who have recovered today. Consist of three migrant workers (PMI) and three non-PMI (previously traveled abroad),” Dewa Indra said on his official statement in Denpasar, on Wednesday.
Dewa Indra also announced there’s no new COVID-19 confirmed case, so the total number remained 277, and no report also on death case and remained four.
“As for patients under treatment (active case) amounting 107, they are treated at 10 hospitals and quarantine sites in Bali,” he explained.
Nationally, the Government of Indonesia recorded 120 recoveries as of Wednesday, bringing the total number to 2,317.
The government spokesperson for COVID-19 Achmad Yurianto also announced 367 new confirmed cases across the archipelago, bringing the total number to 12,438.
“While the death toll increased by 23 patients, bringing the total number to 895. The death cases are mostly because the patient also had comorbidities such as hypertension, diabetes, heart disease, and lung disease,” Yuri said.
Yuri also reported that today, there’re no new cases confirmed in 12 provinces in the country.
