DENPASAR, Bali (BPN) – Deputy Chairman of Bali COVID-19 Task Force Dewa Made Indra announced seven additional recoveries as of Sunday, May 10, bringing the total number to 204.
Besides, Dewa Indra also announced five new confirmed cases on the island, bringing the total number to 311.
“There are five new confirmed cases, consist of four Indonesia Migrant Workers (PMI) and one local transmission,” Dewa Indra said on an official statement in Denpasar, on Sunday.
Dewa Indra explained the number of patients under treatment (active cases) amounting to 103. They are treated at 10 hospitals and quarantine sites in Bali.
Most of the COVID-19 cases according to Dewa Indra are imported cases, while local transmission reached 118 cases.
Nationally, the Indonesia Government announced 91 recoveries as of Sunday, bringing the total recovered patients across the archipelago to 2,698.
The government spokesperson for COVID-19 Achmad Yurianto also announced 387 new confirmed cases, bringing the total number to 14,032.
As for fatalities, Indonesia recorded 14 new deaths from COVID-19, bringing the total death toll to 973.
