DENPASAR, Bali (BPN) – Deputy Chairman of Bali COVID-19 Task Force Dewa Made Indra announced six new confirmed cases as of Saturday, May 9, bringing the total number to 306.
“There are six new confirmed cases. All are Indonesian consist of three migrant workers (PMI) and three local transmissions,” Dewa Indra said on his official statement in Denpasar, Saturday.
Dewa Indra also announced two additional recoveries from non-PMI, bringing the total recovered patients to 197.
As for the confirmed patients under treatment (active cases) amounting to 105.
“Most of the confirmed cases came from imported cases, while the total number of local transmission is 117 people,” Dewa Indra explained.
Meanwhile, Indonesia recorded 113 recoveries as of Saturday, bringing the total number to 2,607.

Besides, the government spokesperson for COVID-19 Achmad Yurianto also announced 533 new confirmed cases, bringing the total confirmed COVID-19 patients to 13,645.
As for fatalities increased by 16, bringing the total death toll to 959.
