JIMBARAN, Bali (release/BPN) – Bali Dragon Boat Festival returns this year as part of Badung Nautical Festival 2018 and is held on May 10 – 12, 2018 at Kedonganan Beach, Jimbaran, Badung Regency. Badung Nautical Festival 2018 also features Dodgeball Clinic and Beach Soccer Competition, which will be held on May 18 – 20.
At the Dragon Boat Festival, more than 200 athletes including from Australia, China, Brunei Darussalam and Malaysia, to compete for medals, trophies and cash, at the 250 meters waterway. As the conditions, participants are required to have experience on the sport and the team member should consist of both male and female rower.
In addition to the Dragon Boat Festival, the Beach Soccer is no less exciting. It will be held at Kuta Beach, as one of Bali’s most attractive destinations for both international and domestic travelers.
“This festival is expected to attract foreign tourists travelling to Bali and to become a regular annual event which can increase the number of tourists visiting Bali both domestic and international. This festival also can raise Kedonganan beach as one of tourist destinations in Bali,” I Nyoman Sardjana, the Chairman of Badung Nautical Festival 2018, said to the Press at Jimbaran Bay Beach Resort & Spa, on Thursday.
