KUTA, Bali (BPN) – THE 1O1 Bali Fontana Seminyak took part in this year’s Earth Hour on Saturday, March 25, 2023.
Earth Hour is a global event celebrated annually on the last Saturday of March, to encourage people to turn off lights for one hour and to raise awareness to reduce energy consumption and the impact of climate change.
“We believe that by participating in Earth Hour, we can make a difference in the fight against climate change and demonstrate our commitment to protecting the environment. We hope our guests will join us in this effort and help spread the message in their own communities” said Wayan Karta, General Manager of THE 1O1 Bali Fontana Seminyak.
THE 1O1 Bali Fontana Seminyak turned off all non-essential lighting in public areas for two hours, from 20.00-22.00 local time, and invited guests to reduce electricity usage in rooms from 20.30 to 21.30.
During this time, guests were invited to enjoy a special evening in the Potabella Bistro area, accompanied by live acoustics and dim lighting from candles.
