DENPASAR, Bali (BPN) – One of Bali’s biggest festival Jatiluwih Festival, will again be held for the second time ever on September 14-15, 2018, at D’Uma Jatiluwih, Art & Cultural Hill, Tabanan. This year’s festival with the theme Matha Subak will focus on empowering the surrounding community.

According to Nengah Sutirtayasa, the Chairperson of the Festival Jatiluwih 2018 who also serves as Operational Manager of Jatiluwih, this event will involve both farmers and the community and to lift local potential, human resources and natural resources.

“The target of this festival is indeed to empower local communities, and not merely about tourism. Because the role of the community must exist, if not tourism itself will not run smoothly,” he said on a press conference on Wednesday.
