DENPASAR, Bali (BPN) – The Denpasar Police Narcotics Unit together with the Bali Police Counter Transnational Organized Crime (CTOC) successfully revealed drug cases with a total of 11 suspects. Their role is as a dealer and courier, which four of them are still underage of 13 to 16 years old.
“Four suspects are still underage, some of them are vocational and elementary school graduates, they were assigned as a courier, wrapping and sticking drugs,” said Chief of Denpasar Police Commissioner Ruddi Setiawan, S.I.K., S.H., M.H.
The eleven perpetrators were secured with evidence of 2.78 ounces crystal meth, and 1,548 ecstasies. “This disclosure will save 10,000 younger generations from the dangers of drugs,” Ruddi said.
The perpetrators are imposed on the country’s Narcotics Law, with 5 to 20 years of imprisonment.
