KUTA, Bali (BPN) – The Bali Sales and Marketing Community (BASCOMM) convened a highly informative tourism market update centered on the Russian and Middle Eastern markets. 

The event, held at the Bali Sunset Road Convention Centre on Wednesday (April 30, 2025), featured distinguished experts who provided valuable insights and analysis.

Chairman of BASCOMM, Putu Arisudhiana, emphasized, “This event reflects our continuous dedication to empowering Bali’s tourism industry through targeted education and the strategic sharing of market expertise, delivered by preeminent professionals.”

The update offered crucial perspectives on current market trends relevant to Bali’s tourism sector, specifically concerning the regions of Russia and the Middle East. 

These two significant feeder markets have played a vital role in driving robust travel demand to Bali. 

The recent introduction of direct flights to Bali from Jeddah by Saudi Arabian Airlines, complementing existing direct services from Etihad, Qatar, Emirates, and Aeroflot, underscores the critical importance of understanding these markets for Bali’s tourism stakeholders.

The event featured a distinguished panel of speakers: Natalia Saputra as the General Director, Pegasus Indonesia Travel, Asekan Djoyodono (Director, Asia Collection Group and VICE Chairman Inbound of ASITA Bali), Rifki Novrian (Key Account Manager APAC, YANGO ADS) Yoyok Waluyo (Senior Business Development – Business Insights, Lighthouse), and Royce Sebastian (Sales and Marketing Manager, BookingToGo).
