KUTA, Bali (BPN) – Bali Fashion Parade (BFP) 2023 finally rolled back with great fanfare featuring 27 well-known local and national fashion designers, who presented their best works in front of 500 invited guests at TS Suites Seminyak, Kuta, on Saturday (7/29//2023).
Yongki Perdana, founder of YMM Event Organizer and Model Management as the organizer of BFP 2023 said, in its second year, BFP is expected to make a positive impact on the creative economy sector in Bali.
“We hope that through BFP, Bali will not only be known as a tourism destination but also a fashion icon that can compete internationally,” said Yongki.
Yongki revealed that the enthusiasm of this year’s participants had increased with 27 designers involved compared to the previous event with 23 designers. In addition, 500 people attended the event, which exceeded the initial target of 200 guests.
Meanwhile, the Uluwatu Handmade Balinese Lace brand in a statement said that they felt proud and honored of their participation in the BFT 2023 with the elegance of the 50-year heritage of the original Indonesian Balinese brand: Uluwatu Handmade Balinese Lace.
Lenny Hartono, a well-known Indonesian fashion designer, presented the Barbie theme, where she introduced unique fashion trends for teenagers, with bright, doll-style shades.
Hengki Kawilarang, another well-known fashion designer participating in Bali Fashion Parade 2023 hoped that the event will motivate and provide a platform for designers and models to express their best works so that Bali is not only known for its tourism but also as a fashion Icon.
