“Sofitel Bali Nusa Dua Beach Resort has been blessed with an abundance of blessings over these past two years during the COVID-19 epidemic yet managed to stand strong. Therefore, for this year anniversary we designated our anniversary as Eighternal, which means last and existing forever, formed up of eight shapes that symbolize infinity, without beginning and end,” said Sylvain Pasdeloup, General Manager Sofitel Bali Nusa Dua Beach Resort, and Director of Operations Accor Hotels Bali & Lombok.
In conjunction with Sofitel Bali Nusa Dua Beach Resort’s 8th Anniversary, on December 18th, 2021, the resort hosted a private Eighternal Luncheon at Beachfront Gamelan Ballroom, exclusive only for 30 BRI Prioritas’ customers.
Local Bali’s Designer, bySakdek, also demonstrated how to style kebaya and endek (Bali traditional fabric) as formal/casual daily wear. While Kita Art Friends with “ARTIKULASI” invited to feel the essence of Indonesia with 8 contemporary artists.
Kita Art Friends also presented a new way to enjoy the artworks, some of the artworks were animated through augmented reality technology. In responding to the current trend of cryptocurrency, curated artworks were also available as NFTs (Non-Fungible Tokens).
The following day, on December 19th, 2021, the resort celebrated its anniversary With Eighternal Bruch at Manarai Beach House. With Becky Tumewu as the Master of Ceremony, the event was also enlivened with a magician performance and DJ.
