Bali Coronavirus Update May 11: Six Recoveries and Three New Confirmed Cases

DENPASAR, Bali (BPN) – Deputy Chairman of Bali COVID-19 Task Force Dewa Made Indra announced six additional recoveries as of Monday, May 11, bringing the total number of recovered patients to 210.

Besides, Dewa Indra also announced three new confirmed cases on the island. “There are three new confirmed cases. Consist of two Indonesia Migrant Workers (PMI) and one local transmission,” said Dewa Indra in his official statement in Denpasar, Monday.

Dewa Indra explained the number of patients under treatment (active cases) amounting to 100. They are being treated at 10 hospitals and quarantines sites in Bali.

“Most of the confirmed cases are from the imported case, while the total number of local transmissions reach 119 people,” he said.

Nationally, the Indonesia Government announced 183 additional recoveries, bringing the total number of recovered patients to 2,881, as of Monday.

The government spokesperson for COVID-19 Achmad Yurianto also announced 233 new confirmed cases, bringing the total number to 14,265.

As for the death toll, Yuri explained the country recorded 18 new deaths today, bringing the total number of deatthe h toll to 991.
