KUTA, Bali (BPN) – Seafood has always been one of Bali’s best culinary tours for both locals and tourists. One of the best places to eat delicious fish culinary is at Kedai Rempah Raja, which is located on the second floor of Park 23 Creative Hub, Kuta.
The restaurant Shop which is open daily from 11 AM to 10 PM, offers fresh and delicious menus that are popular among foreign tourists, such as those from Russia, France, Italy, and other countries.
The best-selling menu is the Soup, which uses fresh fish and is cooked immediately upon order.
“So we don’t cook the soup before and then heat it before it is served. But we cook it as soon as there is an order from a guest. The time needed to cook is around 15 – 20 minutes. Indeed, customers need to wait but in the end, it is worth the freshness and taste that is given. That’s why our customers really like it,” said Vera Setyadi, the owner.
Bernard Koraag, the chef, said that the seafood menus at Kedai Rempah Raja are made based on his family recipe so that the taste becomes the taste of home cooking.
“This soup is made in the Manado style, but we recreate it again so that it can be enjoyed by locals and foreigners,” he explained.
Apart from the Fish Soup, guests can also enjoy other delicious dishes, such as Belly Tuna Goreng (Fried Tuna Belly), Rahang Garida (Garida Jaws), Baramundi Head Soup, Tuna Belly Soup, Tuna Jaw Soup, and Fried Tuna Jaws.
The Kedai Rempah Raja also sells fish skin cracker which is specially processed so it doesn’t smell fishy yet have a savory taste.
The prices of the menus here are quite affordable where food starts from IDR 23 thousand to IDR 41 thousand. There is also a special package where guests can get Tuna Jaw Soup, Fried Tuna Jaws, and Rice for only IDR 47 thousand.
