SatuWatt Encourages Balinese to Use Environmentally Friendly Solar Energy

The installation of the PLTS Rooftop in Tamora Square, according to the representative of PT Satuwatt Solar Dewata Api Perdana, is a commitment to support renewable energy in Indonesia.

“SatuWatt, which has the vision to develop solar energy community for residential, commercial, and industrial, is ready to do the best to save Bali through the use of environmentally friendly solar energy,” he said.

Api Perdana explained, with the tagline “Save Bali Go Solar”, SatuWatt provides consultation, site surveys, installation, monitoring, financing to maintenance, and is also ready to assist in making the PLTS Rooftop system easier to use.

SatuWatt According to Api, the advantages of PLTS in addition to using environmentally friendly renewable energy, customers can reduce their electricity bills, make a profitable long-term investments, and increase property value.

“Solar energy is renewable energy and Indonesia is a tropical country with independent and local electricity production. And as we all know, solar energy is abundant in Bali,” he continued.

Since the 1970s, experts in a number of nations have paid close attention to the use of solar energy as a substitute energy source to address the global energy crisis.

Considering that the electrification ratio in Indonesia has only reached 55-60 percent and almost all areas that have not yet been electrified are rural areas far from power plants, PLTS that can be built in practically all locations is the suitable alternative to be developed.

SatuWatt, located at Jalan Sunset Road No. 28, Seminyak, Kuta, entrusted Xurya as a partner in carrying out the PLTS Rooftop installation project.

Xurya is a renewable energy startup company that carries leasing without an investment scheme. Until now Xurya has more than 100 roof installation projects throughout Indonesia.

“We hope that through today’s activity, we can educate and invite Balinese society to be more aware of the importance of renewable energy sources,” Api Perdana concluded.
