Artotel Sanur Bali Joins “Like a Local” Program, to Provide Guests with a More Authentic and Immersive Stay Experience

JAKARTA (BPN) – Artotel Group, Indonesia’s original local hotel operator, launches the “Like a Local” campaign, as part of the Artotel Wanderlust loyalty program in 2025. 

The campaign aims to provide guests with a more authentic and immersive stay experience, highlighting the rich local wisdom and culture of each destination in which Artotel Group’s hotel chains are located. 

As part of Artotel Wanderlust, the “Like a Local” campaign invites guests to experience unique experiences in a more personalized way. 

Guests will be invited to get to know the local culture, explore traditions, and enjoy facilities and activities that reflect the characteristics of each city where ARTOTEL, DAFAM, MAXONE and ROOMS INC hotels operate.

By joining the “Like A Local” campaign, Artotel Wanderlust program members can enjoy exclusive benefits, including:

  • Local Cultural Experiences: Exclusive access to art events, exhibitions, cultural tours and workshops organized in each hotel destination. 
  • Regional Culinary Specialties: Discounts and special offers at hotel restaurants, which serve regional specialties with a local twist.
  • Room Designs with Local Flair: Each hotel features interior designs that depict local culture, providing a more immersive stay experience.
  • Community Activities and Special Events: Access to community events, local festivals, and opportunities to meet local artisans, artists, and personalities.

For local culinary specialties in January to February, Lidah Lokal Sanur provides several local culinary menu options, including:

  • Nasi Campur Pesisir consists of fried baronang, lawar cumi, cumi kesuna cekuh, satay lilit, mackerel soup, sambal matah, and white rice. 
  • Baronang Goreng Sambal Matah is fried baronang with Balinese sambal matah sauce. 
  • Tenggiri Fish Soup is fish soup with Balinese spices and cucumber. 
  • Cumi Kesuna Cekuh is squid cooked with kencur and black bean seasoning. 
  • Lawar Cumi is a vegetable mixed with Balinese spices, grated coconut, shrimp sauce, and small pieces of squid. 
  • Satay Lilit Ikan is made from minced fish meat, dried and mashed coconut, lime leaves, and a mixture of Balinese spices. 

As for the drinks, they are as follows:

  • Es Jeruk Kelapa Muda is orange, coconut water, coconut meat, and basil seeds. 
  • Arak Rempah Bali is arak with cinnamon aroma, mixed with honey, lime juice. 
  • Arak Nungka is arak with bay leaf aroma, jackfruit jam, coconut, lime juice and vanilla syrup.
