DENPASAR, Bali (BPN) – Monarch Bali Dalung conducts a humanitarian aid program for Yayasan Sayangi Bali and Panti Asuhan Dharmajati II in Denpasar on Saturday, January 25, 2025.
Monarch Bali Dalung Director, I Putu Rucita, SE., MM., CHT, stated that the program, which involves the distribution of food aid and other essentials, is a routine activity carried out annually. It is typically held in February, coinciding with Valentine’s Day.
“This program is carried out every year, usually in February, in line with Valentine’s Day. This year, we decided to bring it forward to January,” said Putu Rucita.
He mentioned that the aid provided to the two orphanage locations mainly consisted of essential items such as rice, oil, eggs, sugar, tea, and child necessities like baby diapers, tissues, food, and other baby products to help the orphanages care for abandoned babies.
“At these two CSR locations, we provide more basic necessities and items for babies and children that are urgently needed. We hope our contribution will be beneficial to them,” he added.
The first location visited was Yayasan Sayangi Bali, which was established in 2012. Up to 2024, around 80 babies and children have been adopted from the foundation, located at Jalan Subak Dalem, Bedahulu, Denpasar.
In 2025, the foundation is currently caring for three babies: one aged 1 month, another 4 months old, and a 5-month-old. There is also one toddler, aged 1 year, and two children with disabilities, aged 10 and 11 years.
The second location is Panti Asuhan Dharmajati II, located on Jalan Trengguli, East Denpasar. At this location, Monarch Bali Dalung also delivered similar assistance, including food essentials and supplies for babies and children.
Meanwhile, Ketut Sudama, a representative from Yayasan Widhi Sastra Nugraha (WSN), the foundation overseeing Monarch Bali Dalung, expressed his appreciation and support for the humanitarian program initiated by the management of Monarch Bali Dalung every year.
“We, from the foundation, fully support and appreciate this humanitarian program. It is held every year at different locations. Such programs should certainly continue in the future to ensure a harmonious balance,” said Sudama.
At the same event, Sudama also mentioned that Monarch Bali Dalung is currently very focused on developing human resources (HR) with the right competencies in line with their skills and fields of expertise.
He added that the studies provided at Monarch Bali Dalung are tailored to the needs of the industry, especially in tourism.
“Our focus is indeed on producing competent and high-quality human resources who are ready to compete. This is proven by the fact that Monarch Bali Dalung graduates have been accepted both domestically and internationally, especially in the cruise ship industry,” he concluded.
