KUTA, Bali (BPN) – Acclaimed Balinese contemporary artist Ni Way presents her latest solo exhibition, “Heartbeat Rhythm,” a compelling collection of paintings that explore the rhythms of life, emotion, and human connection.
The exhibition opened on October 3, 2025, located at the iconic Discovery Kartika Plaza Hotel, Kuta, and will run for a full month through November 3, 2025.
Held as part of Discovery Kartika Plaza Hotel’s 35th anniversary celebration, this exhibition invites both locals and international guests to immerse themselves in the profound beauty of Balinese contemporary art in a setting that blends culture, hospitality, and natural beauty.
Through vibrant colors, layered textures, and dynamic forms, “Heart Beat Rhythm” captures the invisible forces that guide us, the pulse of nature, the breath of emotion, and the quiet beats that shape our inner world.
“These works are born from what I feel rather than what I see,” says Ni Way. “I want each visitor to find a rhythm in the artwork that resonates with their own journey, a heartbeat they can recognize.”
The exhibition is part of a larger cultural initiative to mark the 35th anniversary of Discovery Kartika Plaza Hotel, a landmark in Bali’s hospitality and cultural scene since 1990.
“As we commemorate 35 incredible years, we are thrilled to support local talent and provide a platform for Balinese artists like Ni Way,” says Luis Daniel Garcia, General Manager of Discovery Kartika Plaza Hotel.
“‘Heart Beat Rhythm’ reflects our commitment to blending world-class hospitality with the richness of local culture. We warmly welcome everyone to experience this unique artistic journey.”
Guests attending the opening night are treated to a special evening featuring live music, complimentary cocktails and canapés, and the chance to meet Ni Way and discuss her creative process.
All works on display are available for viewing throughout the exhibition period, with select pieces offered for sale.
