MANGUPURA, Bali (BPN/PR) – In celebration of the holy month of Ramadan 1447 Hijriah and to strengthen the bonds of friendship, Discovery Kartika Plaza Hotel hosted a Breaking of the Fast event involving Yayasan Baitul Jannah and invited members of the media on Thursday (February 26), at The Pond Restaurant.
This event reflects the hotel’s social commitment and dedication to fostering harmonious relationships with the community and the media.
On this occasion, the hotel welcomed 25 orphans from Yayasan Baitul Jannah to share joy and togetherness during the blessed month of Ramadan.
The event began with a welcome speech from the management of Discovery Kartika Plaza Hotel, followed by the presentation of gifts to the orphans and a spiritual session led by Ustadz Imam Suyuti, who shared insights on the meaning of sharing and togetherness during the holy month.
As the time for breaking the fast approached, guests and the children awaited the call to Maghrib prayer.
After the adhan, all attendees enjoyed a specially prepared Iftar meal by the culinary team of Discovery Kartika Plaza Hotel, accompanied by acoustic music that added warmth and a pleasant atmosphere to the evening.
“Through this breaking of the fast event, we hope to strengthen our relationship with the media while sharing happiness with the children from Yayasan Baitul Jannah. Ramadan is a perfect moment to nurture empathy, care, and togetherness,” said Luis Daniel Garcia, General Manager of Discovery Kartika Plaza Hotel.
