TABANAN, Bali (BPN) – Demonstrating its commitment to environmental responsibility amid growing sustainability concerns across Bali, Ciputra Beach Resort hosted its Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) initiative titled “Bali Beach Clean Up,” in collaboration with environmental organization Seven Clean Seas.
The activity took place on Saturday, 14 February 2025, at Batu Tampih Beach, Tabanan.
“This initiative marks Ciputra Beach Resort’s first CSR program, focusing on a meaningful beach clean-up effort aimed at raising environmental awareness—particularly around waste management and its connection to flooding issues that have recently affected several areas across the island,” said William Hendharto Ciputra, GM Business Development of Ciputra Group / Owner.
The “Bali Beach Clean Up” brought together Ciputra Beach Resort’s management team, representatives from Seven Clean Seas, and volunteers, with approximately 30 to 50 participants in total.
The program began with an environmental education session from 09.00 to 09.30 WITA, followed by a collective beach clean-up along the Batu Tampih shoreline.
Through this collaboration, Ciputra Beach Resort reaffirms its commitment to responsible environmental stewardship, especially in addressing waste management challenges as part of its broader contribution to preserving Bali’s coastal ecosystems.
The initiative also highlights the importance of proactive efforts in tackling environmental issues such as flooding, which is often linked to improper waste disposal.
Guided by its core messages, “Living by The Beach” and “The Promising Beachfront Housing Development in Bali,” Ciputra Beach Resort emphasizes that environmental sustainability is a fundamental pillar in developing a responsible and future-ready beachfront community.
“This program also reflects a meaningful synergy between the property sector and environmental organizations, creating positive impact for both nature and local communities while encouraging collective awareness of preserving Bali’s beaches as vital environmental and tourism assets,” Mabel Anjali Primana, CSR Manager of Seven Clean Sean concluded.
