KUTA, Bali (BPN) – The Indonesian Bartender Association (HBI) held a charity event for victims of natural disasters in East Nusa Tenggara (NTT), by selling hundreds of cocktails created by four well-known bartenders in Bali on Wednesday, 28 April 2021.
“The funds collected from this event, 100 percent will be donated to NTT. The donation will be in the form of goods such as staple food packages, clothes, and others,” said Oka Angga as Deputy Chairman of HBI, at the event’s press conference at Holiday Inn Resort Baruna.
Oka explained that apart from selling cocktails, this fundraising was also carried out through merchandise sales and auctions.
Meanwhile, Alit Naryana or better known as Ari Barker, also deputy chairman of HBI, said that each cocktail created by the four bartenders namely Agunq Darmawan, Borty Jesica, Anotnius Dwi Agusta, and Sancaya, was sold for IDR 45 thousand.
“We hope to collect a minimum of IDR 15 million from this event. We will cooperate with the Indonesian Air Force for the delivery of this aid,” Ari Barker said.
